One set of inline sensors. Measures every minute. Alerts you before the problem — not after.

01
Install – inline, 20 minutes
Inline dual conductivity probes, 1/4″ to 1″ fittings, no special tools. Pair over BLE, set up WiFi, pick your purifier — TDSBot handshakes with AWS IoT Core over TLS 1.3.
02
TDS, EC, flow, temp
ESP32-S measures TDS, temperature and flow every minute. Uploads to AWS, where the backend computes threshold alerts, filter analytics, and LSI and Larson-Skold indices.
03
Days remaining for filters
Based on Volume, flow rate, TDS, manufacturer baseline. Alert before the problem, not after.
04
Alert, work order, log
Email or webhook. Create work order. Automatic supporting logs for compliance. One view for every location.

How a reading becomes an alert

Your water is talking.
TDSBot is built to listen.

No dashboard-checking required — the whole point is that you don’t have to look until there’s something to see.

01≤ 1 s
Sensor
ESP32-S measures TDS, conductivity, flow and temperature every minute, directly inline.
02≤ 2 s
Cloud
Readings sync over MQTT/TLS 1.3 to AWS IoT Core in real time, normalized to ANSI reference conditions so a reading means the same thing on any install.
03≤ 5 s
ML model
A model trained on ANSI-normalized data tracks TDS drift and volume flow against manufacturer capacity, projecting days remaining with P10/P90 confidence bands.
04< 60 s
Alert
You are notified 30–45 days before exhaustion — not after something has already gone wrong.

What customers say

The water was always the
variable we couldn’t control

“Wow! what a product. For years I have been changing filters every 6 months to a year. TDSBot tells when to change filters. I have saved more money on filters while not compromising on the quality of water. Highly recommended”
John TignelliNorthridge, CA, United States of America
“I was always worried whether my RO system was working properly. Now I know the quality of water whenever I want to. The predictive alerts help me to maintain my system timely. Very much needed.”

FAQ

Frequently asked
questions

TDSBot measures TDS (total dissolved solids in ppm), electrical conductivity (μS/cm), flow rate (L/min) and temperature (°C) directly inline, every minute. From these it derives the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), Larson-Skold Index, SCA water zone, filter life remaining and — for dual-sensor RO installations — membrane reject ratio as a proxy for membrane health. Reports publish hourly or daily depending on plan, with alerts firing immediately when thresholds are crossed.

No. TDSBot does not directly measure PFAS or other chemical contaminants. For RO systems, the reject ratio (TDS in vs TDS out) is used as a proxy indicator of membrane performance, which correlates with PFAS removal efficiency. For confirmed PFAS compliance testing, accredited laboratory analysis is required.

TDSBot normalizes every reading to ANSI reference conditions, then a machine learning model tracks TDS drift and volume flow against the manufacturer's rated capacity. It projects days remaining with P10/P90 confidence bands, alerting 30–45 days before exhaustion. For RO membranes, it also monitors the inlet-to-outlet TDS ratio to detect membrane degradation. This typically extends filter cartridge life by 22% compared to fixed monthly replacement schedules.

TDSBot (no display) is $59. TDSBot Display, with an onboard LCD screen, is $69. Both use 1/4 inch fittings. Commercial units are priced by size and configuration — contact WaterTDS for commercial pricing. SaaS plans are Monitor (free for 3 months with hardware, then $2 per device per month), Protect ($3) and Coffee Pro ($7), with volume tiers from 100 devices and 15% off on annual prepaid.

TDSBot is compatible with any water filtration system using standard 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch inline fittings, including BWT Bestmax, Everpure, Pentair, 3M Aqua-Pure, Brita Pro, Culligan, iSpring, APEC, Bluewater, Paragon, Kinetico and Ecowater systems, as well as commercial RO and DI systems. Brand names are listed to indicate compatibility only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

TDSBot installs inline on any water line using quick-connect fittings. Installation takes approximately 20 minutes with standard tools. It connects via Bluetooth for initial setup, then communicates via WiFi using MQTT over TLS 1.3 to AWS IoT Core.

Yes. TDSBot starts at $59 and works with any residential under-sink RO, whole-house filter or countertop filter using standard 1/4 inch fittings. The Monitor plan is free forever for residential users — no subscription required.

TDSBot is deployed in specialty coffee (espresso machine protection, SCA water compliance), food service (multi-site filter management, machine warranty compliance), commercial water treatment (RO system monitoring, filter depletion prediction), facilities management (CMMS integration), car wash and window cleaning (spot-free rinse), ice machine operators, and residential filtration.

Disclaimers: TDSBot measures TDS, conductivity, temperature and flow rate directly. LSI, Larson-Skold Index, hardness and alkalinity estimates are derived from onboarded utility water chemistry data — not directly measured inline. TDSBot does not measure PFAS, bacteria, or other biological or chemical contaminants; for RO systems, reject ratio is used as a proxy indicator of membrane performance only.
